My old laptop cooling pad is 4 years old and its contacs are bad so it works on moments. I want to buy new one but in local IT shops there are cooling pads with only 900 RPM while my has 1400 RPM. I checked ebay and there are lot powerful pads with 1500 or even 2400 but Im not sure in their quality. So I wanted to ask is 900 RPM enough and could you recommend me pad for about total price below 20 dollars. And it should have fan on the left side because my laptop gets warmer there.

Hi there - can you send over the links to some of the cooling pads which you are looking at on eBay? Also - yes I think that a better cooling pad will put less stress on the computer which will lead to it running better. Also, what size is your laptop, it will help me to look for coolers in the mean time.

It is by cooler master which is a very well known brand. It is 17 dollars and its fans are 1500 RPM, I hope this helps but I will also look for some alternatives.
