I own a pair of Steelseries Siberia 150 right now but they're broken. Actually they were really great and i was really happy with them. Since I need a new pair of headphones, I thought i can upgrade them to Siberia 200 because their driver unit size is 50mm instead of 40mm, highest frequency is 28000Hz instead of 20000Hz, lowest frequency is 10Hz instead of 20Hz and their sound pressure level is 112db instead of 90db. Loudness is the primary factor for me because I'm playing video games and listening music really loud and mostly at max volume level. Siberia 150 has USB port and Siberia 200 has 3.5mm audio jack. Siberia 150's loudness was really great and I want that same loudness with the Siberia 200 too. Is there a difference between 3.5mm audio jack and USB port about max volume loudness? Can I get the same loudness with the Siberia 200 too?

Solution
Probably but
When you use USB the amp for the headphones is built into them.
When you use the 3.5mm audio jack you are using the amp in the PC so it will depend on what mobo or soundcard you have.
Contact Steelseries and ask.
