I have basically narrowed it down to these 2 options.

1. Dell XPS 13 9365 2-1
It has the latest i7-7Y75 processor. 16GB Ram, 512GB SSD and a QHD display.

2. Lenovo Yoga 910
i7-7500U Processor, 16GB Ram, 512GB SSD and QHD display.

Both have a similar main spec config, however, there is a vast price difference in the two (Lenovo being cheaper) but also on the other hand I have heard that Dell has much better after sales support then Lenovo.

Also, in terms of other features in these Ultrabooks, the XPS 13 has thunderbolt support and much better battery life. I have also ready in a few reviews that the fan noise on the Lenovo 910 is annoying.

Please provide your inputs so that I can make a more informed purchase. Thanks

What a fascinating question. We'll take this up as part of this week's "Help Me, LAPTOP" question to be posted on laptopmag.com on Saturday. Stay tuned.

I'm struggling with the same issue: Lenovo Yoga 910 vs Dell XPS: 910 screen is a bit larger, but has an odd right shift key placement. I need to do photo editing. is there a good photo editing program that would work on either of these computers? I don't think Adobe Photoshop or video editing works smoothly on either one. HP Spectre might be better for this....I just like the look of the Yoga 910......there are complaints about fan noise with Yoga 910....nothing is perfect.

Thinking of the processors ... it appears to me that the i7-7500U is vastly superior to the i7-7Y75.
