I have an ASUS GL-753VD that I just purchased new in box less than a week ago. I've been playing primarily WoW on it with absolutely no issues, then suddenly this morning 3 times it shut down like the battery died, but was plugged in and at 95% charge available. I've done some basic troubleshooting and searching through forums.

Specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CUP@ 2.80GHz
NVIDA GeForce GTX 1050 GDDR5 @ 4.0 GB (128-bit)
930 GB HD (795 GB available)
15.9 GB RAM (12.6 GB available)

1. It is not overheating, I can immediately restart it, ROG gaming center's report shows it at 33-36C upon restart. The hottest I've seen it get during long game play was 62C.
2. I have not overclocked it or made any changes to performance.
3. There are no errors, no blue screen, no report when it is turned back on that there was a crash or it was recovering.
4. I can find no available updates, the most recent updates were 2 days ago for Windows 10.

Here is a picture of the ROG gaming center taken immediately after restarting from the 3rd shut down.

A system like that should have no problems with WoW. I'd do a driver update(specifically on the video card via nVidia's website - clean install). Also, check to see if there's possibly any WoW related issues with any of the components on your system. Lastly, check your power settings in Control Panel. I'd set it to 'high performance'. If issue still persists, then I'd go with the warranty as ffg7 said.

I also have that same unit of ASUS ROG. The only thing that differs is that "VD" thing on yours. Mine is "VE" which has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050ti . I got stressed out of the sudden shut downs. It's just isn't right. I don't know what to do now. I watched all the youtube videos but nothing happens. :3 Update me if you get yours fixed. Okay? I'll also update you if mine got fixed already.

mine's already set to that. Haven't touched any settings except keyboard lighting and it's still an issue. fml

Glad to hear your issue was resolved though
