I ordered a RAM for my HP G62 Laptop(b31EE) from 2011(I replaced 2 GB with 4 GB) and It just arrived.Whenever I put it in and start the laptop,BOOM!Blue screen of death. When I put in the 2GB RAM,BOOM! It turns on normally.I thought it was a problem with the voltages so I went into the BIOS but I can't change stuff because it's the insydeH20 Setup Utility.HALP!

BTW the RAM I bought was the Kingston 4GB module @ 1.35v (Model Number is KVR16LS11)

Well then you are likely screwed. One question are you using 2x2GB sticks or 1x4GB stick. If using 1x4GB stick that is you problem. It only supports 4GB total over two dimms so 2x2GB. If yes to 1x4Gb that is your problem there.

Did you check you Laptops supported memory list when purchasing? I would check myself but you didn't give the whole model number. Regardless if the memory is not supported you may be screwed. Also are you hitting del at start up to get in the bios?
