Hey, so i was changing my thermal paste, its not first time i did it, but this time some paste accidently got on pins of ram connection, it was complete accident and now pc is not turning on, i just wonder if the paste on the pins might be the problem? when i started the pc the fan started first, then fan stopped, and PC just continued to beep, screen didnt turn on either, the paste i used is:
Cooler Master MasterGel Thermal Paste 1.5g Performance (>5 W/m-K), i think it shouldnt short the MB or could it? here is the picture of the pins, tryed to clean them unsucessfully

carefully checked all connections and cables few times, everything is connected fine 100%

Solution
you are supposed to use brush & alcohol at same time not separately. was using that stuff when working at Celestica working on server boards for sun microsystems & cisco systems.

disconnect the power adapter from laptop, remove main battery. use some Isopropyl alcohol & a tooth brush or something similar to clean those pins. let the alcohol evaporate after clean up, reseat the ram stick, re-install main battery & turn on the laptop. post results

so tried to clean the paste as much as possible using toothbrush but it didn't clean it enough, later I used alcohol and tried to blow out the paste using airduster, but its still doesn't look clean, but this paste shouldn't shortcut anything I think? what might be other reasons for it? might I damaged motherboard somehow? maybe I damage cpu?
