My Acer V5-132 won't turn on. Help needed ASAP

My Acer V5-132 can't turn on and can't charge when plugged to the socket. No light on LEDs and on screen either. I've tried some of the 'press the power button for a period of time' but nothing happened. I've been using this notebook for about 4 years. Never happened like this before.

Looks like you are having problems with the power supply. The power supply is inside of the square plastic box connected to the power cable.

You mean the charger itself is the problem? Is there any possible way for me to confirm this?

You'll need a new Power Supply(charger) for you to be able to confirm it. I'm pretty sure that he one you have is bad. Computer batteries and power supplies start dying right after 3 years
