1. I cannot lay on my back.

2. The 12 inch iPad has all the features I need except the screen is too small. I want at least 26 inch screen

3. I want to stream tv shows from crunchyroll.com and kissanime.com

4. I need the capability to lock screen rotation unless someone made a sideways tv

Please
Thank you in advance

1. No problem rotating a TV or monitor. That's why there are stands to do that. It's done for digital signage all the time.
2. I don't know why there would be such a thing. A portrait mode only display would have a tiny picture in landscape. Get the correct stand or bracket and it will work fine.
3. Chromecast stick will be fine.
You could use a regular TV if you know it can be mounted on a standard VESA mount stand that would allow you to rotate it sideways into portrait mode. With the right wall mount you could use that instead of the stand.
If you are only going stream anime then you don't really need the extra inputs or tuner in a regular TV so you get a computer monitor (HDMI input with built in speakers) Connect a streaming source via HDMI for your anime

So funny enough, our Vizio can rotate from horizontal to vertical! We ended up mounting it onto a computer arm, and the arm allows it to rotate when needed. This is the TV we're using: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SMBF3NS
The monitor arm we're using is discontinued and I can't remember the name of the model. However I do recommend the Amazon Basics arms here: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Display-Mounting/dp/B00MIBN16O

Just make sure to follow the instructions when mounting, and that if you mount it to a wall to get it on a stud. Also, make sure the TV or monitor you go with has a 100x100mm vesa mount!

I have zero faith in the longevity of computer arms. I feel like they will break after 1-2 years. Other advice is greatly appreciated. It is me, LegitXeris. Somehow, logging to a different FB account changed my account here too

I can see that, we replaced ours after about 3 years of use (one of the joints gave out).

1. If I rotate the computer monitor by 90 degrees, would it damage the monitor since widescreen monitors are built for landscape viewing

2. Is there a vertical monitor that can do landscape mode?

3. Can I use chromecast on these monitors?
I tried shopping for options 1 and 2, but I am not very tech savvy.
