I am looking to buy a new laptop and need some advice. I am wanting a PC that is comparable to the new MacBook Pro. I will be using it mainly for class and work so I would like something that is durable without being bulky or heavy. I don't need anything with crazy amounts of hard drive since I am not a gamer or anything. I would like something with a good display (4K or better) for watching videos. I'm not looking to spend any more than $1400. Right now I have been looking into the HP Spectre x360-15t but didn't know if HP is reliable these days. I had a Dell in the past and it gave me some issues. Thanks for any advice!

Well HP and Dell are pretty reliable with their premium models so don't worry about it.
But here are the ones I think would suit you well according to your needs-
1. Dell XPS 13 with i5
2. New Hp Envy 13
3. Surface Pro 5
4. Macbook Pro 13 2016
