Hello. I am absolutely torn between the choosing of a laptop or desktop for college. My budget is $2000 for either one. I could either have a PC along with the MacBook Pro I already own, or I can get a Razer Blade Stealth w/ Core. What is good to start with? Keep in mind that if i get the laptop, I can get the Desktop down the road (within a year). What's good to start with?

It depends on what you're using the computer for. If the MacBook Pro isn't good enough for daily use during your college life (to write papers, etc.) then get the laptop. If it is, then get the desktop. Also, if your budget is 2000$ anyways and you decide to get a laptop, I wouldn't get any Razer product. It's expensive for what you get and you could get a much better ASUS ROG or MSI laptop for the same price. If you decide to go for the desktop, then you should build it from scratch!

Get a desktop, your current laptop will serve just fine.
If it's falling behind, get a desktop as well as a new workstation laptop.
What's your current monitor situation for desktops?
Do you have a PC atm? If so full specs?
