Hello guys,
I have an old Acer Aspire 5732ZG, i had some problems with it not booting or the battery light would flash orange and so on, i put all the blame on the battery and on the motherboard after that, but it really was just the charger.

The thing is before i tried checking the charger i changed the CMOS battery with a bigger one, but it seems to have the same specs with the old one: 3V and 240mAh, it's only a bit bigger but it still fits with no problem.
I was just wondering if it will make any sort of problems in the near future, i left some photos so you can take a look.

P.S.: I'm a big noob at soldering so it looks pretty bad.

I took the connectors from the old one and put them on the new one, also i covered it in scotch tape just to be sure it doesn't touches anything else on the motherboard.

I wasn't asking about how the battery was soldered on to the board or saying that you're not right about how it looks really bad, i was asking if this ghetto fix will work or not.
Your ironies make no sense right now.
