I have a Lenovo G770 laptop (model 20089 written on the back of the laptop, but on the Lenovo website it's autodetected to be 1037 for some reason). I'd really like to know if my laptop supports (not if it's enabled) UEFI. It appears that I do not have an UEFI option in my BIOS (but could it be hidden?).
Solution
After asking both the people at Lenovo (I've asked both on the main Lenovo Facebook page, as well as on my country's specific Lenovo Facebook page) and also a BIOS modder, I've come to the conclusion that my laptop does NOT support UEFI 
. Still, I have actually found a tutorial on the insanelymac website, that helped me install Windows 8 in UEFI-mode, although my BIOS is LEGACY . This was done using the Clover bootloader (I'm almost sure you can use it to only install Windows!) ..
