Laptop is showing black screen with cursor only

I have a Acer aspire(5741g) laptop . When try to turn on it .the laptop shows me a moving cursor with black screen before startup . I tried to boot in safe mode but it is not starting . I have everything startup repair, system image recovery,safe mode with networking and etc. But all in vain . I can see my files in system image recovery - advanced option . Means the hdd is working . Please help me to reinstall the windows in this laptop...

So how did you try to restart the laptop? For me I had to hold down F12 while turning it on to change the "boot order" of the system, and turn of my laptop, hold down F11 while turning it on again, and I was able to given a option to boot from other devices.

Download Windows 10 64 bit from microsoft's and burn it to a DVD or, using Rufus, to a USB drive.

from there you may be able to boot from your DVD or USB.

Update: If it is a Hardware problem, there is no way of fixing this without replacing your hard drive. Changing hard drive to fix this will result in deleting everything....

Shutdown computer turn it back on when black screen appears do ctrl+alt+delete then click task manager then clivk file in top right click run new task type in cmd in cmd type systemreset -factoryreset
