Combining two webcams for depth sensing

I have 2 logitech brio webcams (don't ask how - long story) and wondering if there is a way to connect them so they can work together to perform 3d depth sensing like the razor stargazer which I can use for windows hello and scanning objects.

Also does the logitech brio do iris scanning or 3d facial recognition for windows hello since it has an ir emitter?

That could become quite involved.

3D would require that the cameras be some fixed distance apart with software that can identify some mutually identifiable pixels within each image. Then knowing that the cameras are some fixed distance apart along with some other reference points there would be some trigonometry calculations needed to compute the "depth" to some target object.

Very much the same for IR scanning recognition. There needs to be some constant pattern of pixels (IR or otherwise) within the subject that can be scanned, identified, and compared to a database to see if the same recognition pattern exists.

Google 3D scanning software and facial recognition software.

The idea being to learn what specific hardware...

The idea being to learn what specific hardware requirements are necessary for any such activities and then match those requirements to the Logitech Brio's capabilities.
