That is a 5 year old system, at that age anything can go wrong on you. I've worked on many of those before, probably the biggest issue I have seen is hard drive failing which is about normal for any system. If you buy a used system, swap the hard drive for a new solid state and as long as it tests fine before you get it, you will be OK for a while with it.
