It's customary to include your full system's specs inclusive of your OS.
According to your product manual, the jack the inline sound card uses is a combo 3.5mm audio in and mic jack. You're going to need a splitter(page 11 in the manual) if your audio outputs from your desktop are individual 3.5mm ports.
