There are 2 audio connections which are usually red and white.
There are 3 video connections. Y Pb and Pr. These are usually green blue and red in that order. The colors on the cables don't really matter. It does matter that the jacks are labeled the same at both ends. You have blue and green matching so use the yellow for the red video connection since that's the easiest to remember later.

The cables are the five colors on one end, but the other end is hdmi. My hdmi ports blew out in a lightening storm so i am trying to hook up using a cord with hdmi on one end and component on the other end. I can't figure out which combination works.

No combination will work.
You can't use a passive cable to convert HDMI (digital av) to component (analog av). You will need an active converter to get it working.
