Hello, I have a Lepy 2020A amp(https

The amp also has a 3.5mm in, and when i plug it into my pc, the audio barely comes through and is very rough. I have tried different Aux cords but same result. I have also unplugged the rca inputs and the 3.5mm in still doesn't work. Would love to have this pc/turntable variable setup before heading off to college soon.

Do I need a pre-amp between the pc audio out and the amp audio in? the turntable has a pre-amp setting.
