I had a set of Logitech g51 surround sound speakers at around 2007 or 2008, but 5 years ago I didn't have the space for them so they went into storage. In a few months I will have more space again. I had a few questions.

1. Are these even any good?
2. Are they still going to work after sitting unused for several years?
3. Are they going to work properly with win10? They were designed for Vista and Logitech does not offer support for them anymore.

Is there any other, more modern, affordable ($150 about) surround speakers I should consider?

Thanks in advance.

Surround sound is pretty lacklustre unless you spend a bit more imo, in this range 2.1 speakers will give you the best sound and biggest oomph for your money.
If you can spend a bit more get these, absolutely stellar and sale ends in an hour, pull the trigger quick!

If you're set on it and miss the sale however these are alright: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/yamaha-5-1-600-w-home-audio-speaker-system/4452997.p?skuId=4452997&ref=199&loc=8BacdVP0GFs&acampID=1&siteID=8BacdVP0GFs-.r0zU7H6zlauL2N6Ku4TxA
