Hello everyone,
This is my first post and hope im requesting help in the right place. I have an Asus laptop that recently developed connection issues. The wifi connection will show the little active bars as it should when connected but when i put my mouse over the bars in the task bar it says "not connected, connections available ". And i obviouslycan't get an intrrnet browser to load. The problems began around the time I installed Advanced System Care 10. I fear i may have messed with settings in the main registry. Even with external usb wifi adapters its the same show so its not a hardware issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

1| First and foremost, it's a big no-no to use third party apps to tinker with your system. Only use apps that you're familiar with. On another note, there is a high chance that you can get redirected to another download site that harbor malware.

2| You forgot to state the make and model of your laptop. If possible please provide an SKU to the unit.

3| Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your wireless adapters drivers?

4| If the registry is what you fear is messed up then you would have better outcome by reinstalling your OS and ofc not using the culprit app from thenceforth.
