Hi friends,
I am a complete noob and have zero clue what I'm doing. I'll start with what I have: Bose Cinemate 15 hooked to my TV for TV, movies and games. I have two Bose SoundTouch 10 speakers and one SoundTouch 20 Speaker I use for listening to music.

My friend is selling two polk 65T tower speakers and a Onkyo receiver for $300. He reached out to me to see if I want them. Sounds like a good deal to me so I was wondering what, if anything, I can do to incorporate this set to what I already have?

If I get the tower speakers does it make the Bose Cinemate 15 redundant? Same for the SoundTouch systems for music. Meaning that using the tower speakers with a receiver would make the Cinemate 15 and soundtouch speakers useless? Or is there a way to make this mess all work?

Any and all advice is welcome and very appreciated. As you can tell, I really don't have any clue how this stuff all works together. So confusing.

Thanks!

The receiver and tower speakers replace all your gear. Will certainly sound better but might not give you the same streaming options that the Bose app has.
If the Onkyo receiver has those apps or a BT receiver you could stream from your phone to the receiver. You could add a BT receiver to any receiver.
If you have use of any of the Bose in another room than do that and sell the rest.

Thanks a lot for the response AA. I really appreciate taking the time.

Would you say the two Polk speakers would make a big, big difference in sound over my current set-up? If so I'd not hesitate in getting the towers speakers + receiver.

In retrospect, I should have never invested in all this Bose. Rather I should have explored a better single setup. Really burns me that I could've budgeted this a whole lot better.

Thanks again!
