I'm looking for a laptop and to be quite honest I'm lost with all the choices available. I'm looking for something quick and powerful first and foremost with anything else being an added bonus. I hope you'll be able to help.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I don't mind.
3. What screen resolution do you want?
A 1080 resolution would be nice if possible.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Either.
5. How much battery life do you need?
The best possible.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
It won't be used for gaming.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Browse the internet, word process, edit photos and watch movies.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
The best possible.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I'm open to suggestions.
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
I would like it to last me 5 years if possible.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
I can't remember the last time I ever used a disc but a DVD-Rom/Writer would be handy.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I'm open to suggestions.
