Hi!

I want to buy a used laptop for working with CAD softwares.
E7450: i5-5300U / HD 5500
E3470: i5-6200U / HD 520

I've check the difference at
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-6200U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-5300U/m36796vsm16790
http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-HD-5500-Mobile-095-GHz-vs-Intel-HD-520-Mobile-Skylake/m16570vsm36797

What do you think, it's noticable difference? I know the better is always better, but the 7000 series are higher quality I think, than the 3000 series? On the other hand, the above stated 3470 is newer, than the 7450...in this case that means that they are maybe equal? I'm not sure in what thing are better the 7000 than the 3000 or 5000 series.

Depending on what you do in solidworks I don't see those laptops doing well at all. I couldn't even keep it running smoothly on my i7 3630qm laptop with a gtx 675m which is better than those with a lower detailed object and materials put on draft.

What would be your pickup? I'm thinking in used laptops...what are the minimum requirements in your option?
My friend have this http://www.toshiba.co.uk/discontinued-products/satellite-s50-b-15q/ and he said that SW works good enough...

The prices are the same by the above mentioned Dell laptops, just don't know in what things are better generally the 7000 series than the 3000 series
