Intel is generally your best bet. You don't have much info for what your daily use will consist of though, so can't really give a solid answer. If you want to do a lot of higher end processing you'd be safe with an i7 processor, but they are the more expensive. You can usually get by with an i3 or i5 most of the time for simple browsing and running things like Microsoft office programs.
