Just wondering from recent YouTube videos if that is possible on my Lenovo y5070
It has 4gen i7
Can u add links to what I should buy and video guide if that possible

Waste of money it is, but not because that cpu is too weak. Problem with these mpcie adapters is that while they have dimension of 16x slot, mpcie slot is used mostly for wifi cards and they don't need much bandwidth so this connector have just 1x lane. This will be bottleneck as any existing card you can buy is heavily limited by this.

Just a waste of money build yourself a desktop pc or get a new laptop. The cpu in the y5070 will bottleneck it hard anyways.
