Windows won't download on Acer laptop?

I reset my computer last night at 10:30 and it is still trying to download it. (Now 12:20) It keeps going to the 'Installing Windows' screen but when it reaches 86%, the screen goes black and it starts over at 66%. What do i do? (Don't know make and model, but it's Windows 10)

Try turning it off and then removing its ability to access the internet. Either disconnect it if connected via Ethernet. Or if through WiFi take it somewhere where there isn't any WiFi or turn off your modem/router.

Then restart it. It should load up correctly and then you can turn on the internet access again.

In Windows 10, if a downloaded update didn't go correctly this can happen. It gets stuck in a loop.
