trying to make my pc a firewall

hello im trying to make my pc a firewall i already have the software but i have a small question

correct me if im wrong i will need a network card adapter, the internet cable that coming from my isp will be inserted in my first network slot in the card and the second slot in the card i will plug a cable in it and goes out to my main network switch....

so is this correct?

im not very good with these things but not harm in trying its my own house with like 7 pc

Any wifi router will do the job of your firewall pc. And it will cost less too.

my other question is ..........the second network (slot2) in my card will it recognize the connection after being filtered by the firewall and settings...to my network? or i have to make some settings to male card 1 see car 2 or something like that?

and btw normal routers cannot block https sites or torrents my router cannot block https it only blocks http

You'll need to read manual of your PC firewall software. Strong knowledge of pc networks is required also.
Anyway - your firewall pc will not be able to filter https traffic also (most likely), https is encrypted.
