So a good while back i downloaded gta san andreas free from am unknown (ik very stupid of me) website and i learned my lesson quick it installed a virus and i never took the time to fix it untill my laptop slowed to a crawl so i finialy deleted deleted the game and all the other files my laptop instantly speeded up but there is still 1 app on it it says gta_sa everytime i try and delete it and emlty my recycle bin it pops back up "magicaly" it says its 0 bytes but i want to make sure

And what other malware is still in there that you have not found?

If a family member of mine brought their laptop to me with this problem...I'd nuke it and start from scratch.

Problem is i dont have a windows 7 key

My system is to low spec for win 10

Cdog042501 :

1. Belarc Advisor can probably retrieve your Win 7 license key.
(assuming it is valid)

2. If it can run Win 7, it can run Win 10. But the free Update window is long gone.

However...license key or no...I wouldn't spend more than about 30 seconds on a system like this.
Nuke it and reinstall.

Sorry, but that's what *I* would do.
