Hi, my Toshiba C55-A, will not boot up.
So the front lights which indicate battery/charging, The On light, are both on and they work fine. But when it comes to the display, there's nothing, and also the Caps lock and number lock lights do not turn on. Usually the laptop might boot up after like 2+ days of just leaving it alone. But even then it would go back into this cycle.
* I tried the trick with taking the battery out and charger, and holding the power button on for 30 sec, etc. It doesn't work.
Please help
** The fan also goes in a pattern, sounds like it wants to start but it can't. I.e. It goes hard then drops to a flat sound.

If there's a small removeable hatch oin the underside of the machine about two inches by one, undo the screw and remove the cover. Inside will be your RAM or memory sticks. Hopefully there will be more than one so gently ease the clips at either end away from each other and the stick will pop up and be able to be removed.

Try the machine again and if it still falis, remove the other stick and replace the first one and start up again.

That may point to the problem but if it doesn't it's one suspeect off the list.
