Question about getting Acer Swift 3

I am thinking about buying "Acer Swift 3, 14" Full HD, Intel Core i5-6200U, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD"

What I've read from other people's opinions is that it has some battery or complete unit failure. People saying that after using it for a little while it just doesn't start. Is that something to worry about? To be more precise - is it happening often or these cases are in the same frequency as in any other regular model.

And about this very laptop, what is the realistic battery life on 80-100% brightness with active work on Photoshop for example (or many tabs in a browser).

Are there any specifics I need to worry about the machine? I am perfectly fine with the size, the weight, the keyboard, pad and screen as they are (I've seen it live in a shop, typed and checked a few photos to see how it looks).

The laptop is not for me, I am using MBP 13 retina. I am comparing the acer to my laptop, and it looks pretty good, even the pad is similar, so to me it's a big plus.

I am really hesitant about these battery/screen/whole thing failures I've read about as I won't be able to return it for repair (my biggest issue). I will have relatives grab it from US and bring to Europe.

TL;DR: Is the unit famous for "it just died, had to relpce" cases after short usage.

Thank you very much!

Solution
There is no perfect laptop. Look at reviews of another laptop that interests you. If there are a lot of user reviews, then you are likely to find some complaints about that laptop as well. You need to weigh the good reviews with the bad reviews to make your decision.

You may want to search for more reviews of the Acer Swift 3 (both user and professional) before making your decision.
