Helllo,
My laptop is constantly giving a BSOD once I try to run any game. The error code I get is VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE with nvlddmkm.sys that made it crash.
Laptop model name:
P670SR-G
Specs
- Windows 10 Pro
- i7 6700
- GTX 1070
- 16gb DDR4
AFAIK nothing is overclocked (can't find anything about overclocking in my BIOS, MSI afterburner also not showing anything overclocked)
What have I tried?
- Updating the BIOS (don't know if it did anything tbh, version seems to be the same according to Speccy)
- Uninstalling the nvidia drivers and reinstalling them
- Updating any other drivers on my pc
- Re-install windows (keeping files though)
- Replacing nvlddmkm.sys in drivers with the one from Nvidia (fix I found online, doesn't work)
- Testing my RAM (seems to be working fine)
When does it occur?
When I try to play games (CS:GO, Rust (also giving a "d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation" error log), any videocard benchmark software)
