After the upgrade i updated the BIOS and graphics card. previously the desktop was running through my 55inch tv, now not only will it not throw to the tv it wont even allow HDMI over a standard monitor? the only thing it allows is DVI? iv tried all the settings on both the screen and tv with no effect over HDMI its as if they arnt even connected saying "no signal". im extremely frustrated and just don't know what to do. please help

Its an i7 gen2, nvidia gtx570 and the tv is a bauhn (aldi). I would mention also that i have tried 2 more monitors one with hdmi and dvi and both work with only the dvi. And about 10 minutes ago it blue screened on me after crashing my internet tabs multiple times

Check your nvidia control panel settings, it show you what is connected to the tv at the moment.
Click on display settings and it should tell you if its on dvi or hdmi.
What windows os do you have also is it 32bit or 64bit, this one here is for windows 10 x64bit.

Also I looked at that tv, it has alot of problems, I suggest taking it back and choosing a better model.

Check the control panel and it shows the monitor hooked up via dvi and wont detect the tv on hdmi? It was working on the tv before the mother board swap?
