I am completely non-techy so I am sorry if I don't use correct terms.

I currently have a very old Toshiba Satellite that I bought to play games (it has i5 and 2 graphics cards or something?) it was not super expensive and was not for gaming. However, it can play Witcher 3 on low settings.

I need to replace it but have no interest in a gaming machine as I don't spend hours a day gaming, they are expensive and ugly. However I would still like to be able to play games and the witcher 3. Do you know of a laptop that could fit? Or perhaps the specs that I should be looking for - a tick list!

I travel a lot so I have to have a laptop.

Solution
I recommend the 2017 Dell XPS 15 (9560) which has an Intel Core i5-7300HQ and GTX 1050 for $1,250. The base $1,000 model only has a dual core i3-7100H and integrated graphics.

See link below for game benchmarks of the GTX 1050. The Dell XPS 15 scored 34.6 FPS in the Witcher 3 at 1080p resolution and high graphic settings. You can click on the benchmark #'s to see the specs of the laptop that got the benchmark. The Witcher 3 is a pretty demanding game.

Here's a written review. There are video reviews of the Dell XPS 15 9560 on Youtube, but they all seem to for the more expensive version...
