How to switch to to DVD Chanel after to Samsung tv

Solution
There is no DVD "channel".
You need to select the input you connected the DVD player to. There will be an input or TV/Video button on the remote that will select that. If you don't know which input you connected it to turn on the DVD player and slowly cycle through all the inputs until you see the DVD screen.
If your TV has smarthub then the sources will be displayed on screen. It may not show sources that are not turned on.

People in the computer biz have this joke about IBM, they speak their own IBM language as if the normal computer jargons are not enough. So CHANNEL to IBM translates to everyday's man speak as A CABLE!

But if Steve Jobs' ultimate TV comes to fruition, he may as well rename all these input as channel, that would give the user a unified reference for what he wants to watch. Applets on an AppleTV/Roku are already called channel, so why not DVD channel, HTPC channel, Xbox channel... :D On such unified TV, there is no more channel and input, there will only be channels, and preferably english-named, but just as FTP is on port 21, the local attached DVD is found on channel 2000!
