Hi all

So the wife and I are building a new house this year and have added a theater room, 5,110mm wide 6,500mm long 2,700mm high with a bulkhead the entire way around for lighting.
So far I have looked at the
Epson EH TW9300 - Projector with 100 inch screen
as for speakers I know I want 7.1 surround sound but thats about all I know about speakers, I watch mostly movies, TV Shows, football and v8 supercars, Being from Australia my options are slightly limited.

My Budget for the entire speaker setup projector and screen is 10-15K

Also any advise of what I should be doing would be great.

TIA

The Epson projector is excellent. For sports getting a screen made for high ambient light might be good.
If you can use in walls for the front three L-C-R speakers that will work better than in ceiling. If you have to go in ceiling there are some that are designed to that application.

In ceiling speakers for the side and rear surrounds are fine. Don't forget to run an interconnect cable for the subwoofer.
If there any AV custom installers in your area you can get your gear from them.

Do you have any reputable shops somewhat local that specialize in home theatre (and/or installations)?
May be good to visit them since they could answer a lot of questions on products, and solutions. You should probably consider in wall speakers as well.

We only have a harvey norman here not exactly "reputable" I am a sparky by trade so the install is easy as I am going to have more wires in that house than you can imagine.
I defiantly want to go in wall speakers all round and a couple in the ceiling as we get a bit drunk and rowdy watching the footy so less things to break.

Not that we don't have some experts here but with a budget like that I'd go over to the AVS forums. That's where the high end audio/video people hang out and their specialty. We're more computer oriented here. :)

I have a pretty decent system but my setup was about a third of your budget. Since I'm guessing you're Australian maybe a bit more factoring in USD exchange rates.

I like the way you think. Always wanted to see Australia anyway. ;)
