I just purchased a 75"Samsung, MU8000, 4K HD and whatever it has Television. Question is I have an Onkyo Surond Sound Receiver, Model HT-R680. I am happy with the receiver, but hate the sized of the speaker which came with the unit. They are large. If you are not familiar with this specific unit, it came with six satellite speakers a center speaker and a Sub Woofer. I want to replace the satellite speakers with smaller, better quality speakers. The speakers I have are rated at !30 Max Watts and are six Ohms. I really dont like "Bose" speakers especially at their prices. Does anyone have any suggestions for a high quality speaker which will pair with my Onkyo receiver? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Oh Yea. I wanna bring the house down with this system.

Solution
What is your budget?

The best surround sound implementation is if ALL the speakers are the same. That way there is no shift in tone when a sound moves from location to location.

I personally run Paradigm speakers.

You should go audition speakers in person. Your ears are different than mine. You may prefer the brightness that Klipsch horns have. Take acoustic material and vocals. I don't like to recommend a specific speaker because it is so subjective.
