You want us to guess the model of your TV?
If the TV has a analog audio output or headphone jack you will need an analog to optical converter..
If the TV has no audio outputs you could modify the TV to provide an analog audio output but using a speaker to line level converter connected to the wires for the internal TV speakers. It would void your warranty.
Otherwise you will have to connect the soundbar to your external sources directly.
