Toshiba c55-a5242 won't restore with disk or O

I have a toshiba c55-a5242.Somehow it crashed and won't boot up.I tried the system resrore using the 0 method but all I get is no bootable disk then no media.Tried restoring using the 0 method but that doesn't work.I ordered a recovery disk was sent a flash drive.But when trying it with flag drive it runs but I get a screen saying system ran into problem looking for a solution and will restart for you.Can anyone please help?

This sounds like the original hard drive crashed. Non usable.
The drive is dead.

Booting from a recovery USB won't fix that.

Even though the Toshiba logo screen does come on?

No the Toshiba logo screen that usually comes on during start up.I'm able to get in to bios.The USB works and the restore flash drive runs but it then shows a blue widows logo and then after a while I get the big blue message with a frown.
