My asus c100pa shows almost no display, the only way i can get to use it is by pointing a lantern to it. I've already done the powerwash, but it has no effect. Also, the brightness keys have no effect whatsoever. Please answer as quickly as possible, is the only laptop I have.

If you can see it when you shine a light on it it, then the backlight is going to need replacing.
If the laptop is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer and they can replace it for you. However, if it isn't under warranty any longer, then you (if you feel comfortable doing it) or someone you take the laptop to will have to do the replacement.
