Loss of HDR signal

Kanewolf thanks for the reply.I did a full factory reset on the tv and tried it again but still the same error. I am almost convinced its a software problem with the HDMI port signal. I played 4K content from Amazon last night and got the little pop uo saying" HDR ON" the problem only occurs when trying to play a 4K disc but like i said earlier this is the second player i have attached and get the same message.
