So I just started up my ASUS laptop, and I saw how BatteryBar showed me an N/A text. I was confused why it told me that. I hovered over it, and it told me that the battery is completely empty. I looked at windows battery indicator, and it told me too that it was 0% not charging. I tried removing the power cord and the laptop turned off instantly. So now I know that the battery is completely empty. Yesterday, It was not empty. I made a battery report using CMD and I could be sure that it had some power in it yesterday. Also, the battery is not removable, so I can't try removing it and reinstalling it. The laptop model is ASUS X550ZE. Also, the battery wear level is 50% , but it was like that for a long time. Is there a way to fix this?

Solution
Actually batteries are removable, just some are a royal pain to get to. One of my pet peeves of newer devices.

That said, if the battery wear level was at 50% a 'long time ago' then it all sounds to me like you need a new battery. There is no way to fix that other than to replace it.

If the laptop is under warranty still, contact the manufacturer about a replacement of the battery. If it isn't under warranty anymore, then either you, or someone you take it to locally, will have to replace it.

That was yesterday, now is today. If you feel like searching for a graph of Li-On battery performance, they wear out pretty evenly then at the end it suddenly drop like a rock. All battery meter reading goes out the door, heck sometimes the reading stop altogether.

People who keep up with their battery wear pay attention to the battery's CHARGE CYCLE, I dunno what ASUS batteries are able to give you these days but a while back it used to 500 cycles and then that's it.

wait, what? why did the wear level just got down. I remember that it was above 50% and now it's 49.5% I know that it's not much, but why did it happen? It seems that the battery is unwearing. Now it's 49.1% and it charged for a second.
