High pitched sounds when moving mouse.

I recently bought a new desktop from MSI and it seems to have a problem.

When I use the front audio 3.5mm port to plug in my headset / earbuds, I get a high pitched noise when I move my mouse.
I even get the noise when I disable all audio through WIndows.

I noticed the problem and send it to an MSI repair center to fix it. After a long wait I got the PC back and ofcourse the first thing I tested was the front audio. Turns out whatever they did, didn't fix the issue. In the repair report it says they fixed the motherboard.

I now use a USB-headset and I don't hear the noise anymore.

Now the real question. Can this problem cause any harm to my PC and should I send it back again? Or can I just use my USB-headset and safely use my computer?

Solution
I would deffo call them at least, and say the problem has not been fixed! Seeing as it wont cost you anything. I know the noise you are talking about, i can sometimes hear a similar faint high pitched noise resonating from my motherboard! I have never worked out what it is, and seeing as my rig is 9 years old, i have not bothered to investigate further!I cannot hear it now as my tower is on the floor any way.
As far as causing problems and harm to the PC, i highly doubt it. It seems to be some sort of static interference coming through the sound card, and that will not harm anything.
For sure speak to MSI, they owe you at least an explanation.

Good luck, best regards,
Kenton.
