Solved! Mitsubishi TV Question

I have a Mitsubishi TV and the other night I heard a big pop and smelled a smoke smell. TV power light comes on but no sound or picture. Is this a bulb or something else?

It sounds like something in the hardware failed big time. My biggest suggestion would be to find a reputable repairman, and have him take a look at it.

If this is a Rear Projection TV, is the bulb.

If this is a street-Joe flat screen TV, your power supply just died.
