Reboot help for Dell

I have a dell laptop. It won't boot up normally but it will in safe mode. I've tried restoring it but it always says can't complete. I also have tried using the restore cd but it says the cd is for dell computers and it's not recognizing my computer as a dell. Suggestions?

If it will boot fine in "Safe Mode" but won't out of it, you need to disabled the things that are starting up when not in "Safe Mode" and then you should be able to get into Windows. Once in, then you will have to add them back one at a time to see who is the cause. I would also suggest running some good deep scans for viruses and malware.

I would also question as to why it isn't recognizing it as a Dell computer.
