So my ear pads have gone to crap all of a sudden, I put on the velour and I don't much like them. I want new leatherette pads but I can't seem to find anywhere to buy official ones, the website tells me the program isn't available in my area... I guess Toronto Canada is too far away to ship somewhy? I've seen one or two chinese manufactured replacements for the cloud 2s, but even if they fit, I won't know til they arrive, it'll be over 2 months and the quality.. probably isn't good.

Does anyone have any ideas??

And the take-away from that is... ?

Also Canada and the US have mostly the same shipping companies; UPS, fedex etc.

The reviews say it hurts the bass for some people (tho with other headsets, none like that for cloud that i saw) , but this is a great starting point. I don't know why I couldn't get effective/useful search results from google - maybe my suspicions of their algorithms are not entirely unfounded..

Either way thanks again, there's no stoppin me now! I see them on ebay from a local(ish) source, order to door in 3 days free, so that's nice. A bit more hunting to be sure I guess :) I saw some real sheepskin ones... though with the place heating up, i may take my time looking lol

So it turns out this is kind of a moot point when it comes to kingston, I called them, exchanged a couple of emails and they're sending me new leatherette earpads, a replacement for the speaker cover which they attach to as one got ripped as well as a new mic cuz mine recently stopped working properly - all 6 months after end of warranty! and free lol, KINGSTON ROCKS.

RCFProd was right, the HM5s would work, but it's Kingston, hit them up and they'll probably take care of it for you :)

When I get them I'll do a video for the replacement, because I can't understand how people find it difficult to switch the earpads on Hyperx Clouds, I found it super easy, it just took a moment's thought about technique.
Username I'll post it under is darkhaze if anyone is interested. Probably call is something like "Super easy switching Kingston earpads, speaker cover repair/replacement #kingstonrocks", or something to that effect.

I only got the last email a few hours ago, the guy is looking for the part number for the for the speaker cover cuz it's an unusual request, but says he'll ship the other stuff ahead. Will update I guess.

So the shipping took two days for the mic.. but apparently the problem is in the headset and they're not gonna repair that out of warranty. They are still shipping the leatherette earpad replacements I believe, so that's something.. i guess..
