I have some movies with HEVC (h265) compression. I'd like to play them from USB disk on TV that doesn't support that format. It's 2013 model Samsung h7150.
I was thinking to buy a player to play those movies.
I just read somewhere that TV without HEVC decoder won't be able to play those movies even from external players.
Some people say however, it will play fine as long as the player supports HEVC.
Anyone can confirm either way, please?
