Hello,

I am a pc gamer and have an MSI GT72 2Qd Dominator laptop. Attached to it I have a Logitech G910 Spark mechanical keyboard. Quite some time ago, the 1/exclamation point key stopped working. Well, randomly working. I thought maybe it was the keyboard itself so I reinstalled all drivers and set everything, including key binds, back to default. Then I tested my laptop key and it's not working there either. Which leads me to believe this is a windows issue. I've googled every possible suggestion I could think of and all I get in returns is strictly keyboard/laptop related.

I am running Windows 8.1 and everything is updated current.

Seriously stumped on this.

I would love any ideas outside of what I've tried, because apparently it's not as simple as just replacing the keyboard since it's happening on any I try.

Thank you so much in advance for your help. I'm a quiet creeper on this site but I love it. I really need some other brains to help me on this one. There isn't even an option to chose Windows issues here. LOL

if it works on external keyboard then high probability its the keyboard issue.i experience something like this before on my old rog g55.some keys just refuse to work even after a clean install of windows.what i do is open up the notebook and disconnect the keyboard cable and connect it back again and its just magically work.lol.

Look carefully at your keyboard! I had a stuck key, it was the LEFT ARROW key, I unstick it and now my !!!!!!!!!!!!! works! Might be another key one your keyboard that is stuck tho. Good Luck!
