HI guys

My Notebook is acer aspire vn7-792G, Its already 1 year and 2 months old , when I first bought it I found something interesting even writed it here but nobody answered me. It was that when I play hardcore game ( aka use all my GPU and CPU on full boost) the battery on win10 indicates that it is on 96% and charging , however now I see that after hard gaming the battery drops lower to 70% ... and saying me it will be fully recahrger in 36 min, when I stop the game the battery starts to slowly recahrge like a normal after 5-6 min it ups like 4-5%.

I also yesterday exprience a strange behaivor , when I unplug my notebook from the charge to move to my bed , it went to sleep , which was not normal since a game was already open, when I woke it my battery was on like 5% ... , I fast put the recharger and it start recharging the battery for like 20 sec to 80% ... After that on the next day I used 2h my notebook on a battery and it droped to like 30% which was perfectly normal?

I really dont know what is wrong , either some windows 10 drivers not working correctly ? Or I have a bad battery or charger .

As I said this is happening only on hard gaming , when my cpu is on full speed gpu on full speed and temperature around 75-80 grad + I really dont stop the game so some times its open for like 20h , maybe the constant exposure to high temp damaged the battery? Or the charger , just give me a hint cause I really dont want to stay w/o notebook when something die in a week.

Thx in advance :)

Here is my battery report as it generate in html.
https://files.fm/u/wggyxxux

You can see cleary how on 04-05 at 01:07 the battery is on 98% then 2 minutes later "SUSPENDED" (sleep mode) , when woke it up 17%,, then for 3 minutes recharge back to 48% and in another 10 minutes up to 100%. Which would indicate a bad battery , however on the next day I was using the notebook around 2h on battery in the university , doing nothing but visual studio code.

if the charger or the battery are not working properly on the first month of use, the warranty is there for a reason, apply warranty with acer, call them and report problems with chrager and battery

Jesus dude ... WHat you just said ... Everything was worked just fine till 3-4 days ago ... At first the notebook was dropping the battery to 96% all the time when I play , and when I stop it charge it to 100% I think this is some kind of advance charging so it don't keep the battery all the time charging it cause this will kill it faster. However now its doing very strange behaivior and just asking around if some1 got clue . Your post helps me with absolutly nothing I know that I can give the notebook to the warranty and wait like 1 month only for maybe a battery change.

I Just ask around to know if I keep playing like 2 days will the battery hit 0% and notebook just shut downs because of not enough power? Cause right know I see it this way ...

When I unplug the notebook it last 2h which is OK . However when I play the battery keeps draining .. So I explain this to my self like the charge cant produce enough power , so the notebook uses the battery juice .. ?

you keep talking about wrong readings and charger misbehaving

i am not jesus and not a dude, it is my opinion that the warranty will help you more here

if you like my reply ok, if you don't like ok too, think of it as i didn't wrote it

This forum is , or atleast was about giving a people a clearence , explain them how things work , and stuff like that. Telling them to give the computer to the warranty is totally useless u know that ?

yes and no

while a expanation sometimes is nice, on a new product under warranty, who has to give the explanation is the seller, on this case acer

if you really don't want to get help from the seller or the manufacturer, wait a bit while someone find interesting the topic of your post now that you expressed that you don't want to solve the problem and want just to talk about the problem

Cause most of the time some probelms may be resolved easy and now I need to be 1 month w/o a notebook where my notebook is very important for me , im student in IT ... Maybe thats why I wrote here where people may help me resolved it w/o give it back to warranty.

Anyway going for a little test , game is opened 12 h and battery is already down to 55% will let it so and to see if the notebook going to shutdown when hit 0% .

The notebook maintened battery charge like 30-40% in this range , I then remove the cahrge moved it to another room , and when put the charge back in right in this moment the notebook went in hibernation ... When I woke it up was on 2% battery despite the fact earlier it was 40% or so...

Now the notebook is plugged into the charge a have game is running and its slowly charging ... so its not going down to 0 again but charging it slowly. Whats wrong ... Can it be a moisture , that mess with the connection that indicate a battery life? Or just my battery get defected somehow ... because till now it was working normaly..
