I have a laptop with an Nvidia 425M in it. When I first got it I put windows 10(clean install after wiping the existing windows 7 install on it) and when I launched SWTOR(using the nvidia processor) it launched and the screen went black with no video and I heard the "error" ding in the background(all LED's were still lit such as hard drive activity, power, etc). I did a hard reset/force shutdown, rebooted and it booted like normal. It then it said something in the notification center about the nvidia driver had crashed, and to update it with windows update. Nvidia DOES have a driver for my card for windows 10 which is what I used. I updated the bios after installing windows 7, also the game works fine under 7(before and after Bios update). I have cleaned and reapplied thermal paste to the cpu and gpu. I would like to run Windows 10 once I upgrade to a SSD. But the bottomline here is, I'm running Windows 7 with NO issues. Games all run great. Is there something I'm missing with Windows 10? (The version is Windows 10 Pro 1607 that I'm trying to run) Thanks!
