So, i bought a Xiaomi Mi Notebook 13 2 days ago. And the laptop is not getting charged. The LED is not lighting up, there is no sign of charging in the Windows taskbar. It still has 60% of battery left. I connected pendrives and mouse to its Type C port ( which it uses for charging) and they all work fine. I tried to connect the notebook's charger to my phone, and my phone recognizes that the charger is giving out power. My guess is that the charger is not giving out the require current of 20v/3.25A. what do you think?

You shouldn't have to pay a thing to get a new device fixed. Contact the manufacturer or the place of purchase and get on them about it. I sure would. No reason to be rude to them, but don't let them talk you out of it either. If necessary go up the chain of people until you get someone who does the right thing. Always works for me. :)

Its not possible. I would have to send the laptop back to china and it would cost a lot. I checked the online forum for this particular laptop and many people have issues with the charger but noone of them has specified the problem very much like i did.
